Top 5 Instagram Women Weight Loss Transformation

Shedding weight is difficult. It’s so difficult that many give up before they even start. If you’re one of those people who are itching for change but don’t have the courage or the confidence, or enough motivation to do so, then this article is for you. Here are some truly inspirational women who have decided to take control of their lives. If they can do it, so can you.

1. Jacqueline Adan

This lady has lost over 250kg and has become popular on Instagram because of the documentation of her excess skin removal surgeries after losing weight.

She has always struggled with her weight ever since she was a kid but hit rock bottom when she found out that she weighed 250kg already. She began to eat healthy, exercise, and with the help of her friends and family has totally changed her life for the better.

She loves to cook and bake, and really enjoys working out with her trainers and group classes at the gym.

2.Alice Clare

This 22-year-old girl lost half of her weight. From 135kg to a happy, healthy 62kg.

She has battled with food addiction before her weight loss. Binge-eating on junk food and sweets. She could finish family size pizzas and fast food all by herself, used to sneak snacks into her bedroom and eat all of it in one sitting. She used food to deal with her emotional issues and hide it from her friends and family.

She realized she had to change her habits after visiting a doctor and learning that she was on her way to getting diabetes and probably won’t live past the age of 30. She met another girl that lost a lot of weight with the help of bariatric surgery so she decided she was willing to do the surgery as well.

Fast-forward to today. She enjoys lifting weights at the gym and has overcome her food addiction. She likes having protein shakes and doesn’t restrict herself too much from enjoying healthy food.

3. Tess Fitzgerald

When she was just a young child, she already had problems with binge-eating and would eat whole bags of snacks when no one was looking. When she reached her teen years, she was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, this causes an imbalance in hormone and insulin levels, which can then lead to weight gain. Despite trying to lose weight, her condition caused her to gain instead. By the time she was in college, she weighed 347 lbs.

With the help of gastric sleeve surgery, she shed a lot of weight. At first, she lost 200 lbs but then she didn’t feel good with a weight that low so she started going to the gym to focus on building lean muscle. Now she works out three to five times per week and follows a low-carb diet. In a span of three years, she has transformed herself from embarrassed and unhealthy, to amazing, confident, and fit.

4. Elena Juarez

This businesswoman and mom of two got a wake-up call when her 10-year-old daughter came home from school one day crying because the school nurse recommended that she take a diabetes test. A family trip to the doctor confirmed that if the family didn’t change their eating habits, they would develop diabetes.

She started following a Paleo-friendly diet and cardio kickboxing plus strength training five times per week. Then she learned about the keto diet and has practiced it for herself and her family ever since. She has lost 100 lbs while still enjoying her favorite food like pizza and eating out.

She believes that moms can never be too busy to take care of herself and her family’s health.

5. Amy Murphy

After reaching 432lbs, Amy underwent gastric sleeve surgery. This procedure helped her lose an amazing 262lbs. She has dedicated herself to a strict exercise routine five times per week and follows a high protein, low fat, low carb diet.

When she first started going to the gym, she could only use one machine, the elliptical. It was the only equipment in the gym that could handle her weight. Then she also started lifting weights. After a year she discovered that she loved to run and started incorporating that into her routine three to four times per week. She has run marathons and loves it! All this hard work paid off as she is now a healthy 170lbs.

This is a quote from her Instagram page: “My strength is that I am CONSISTENT. I will keep going. I will persevere. And the results speak for themselves.”
