Lazy Vegan Falafel

The delicious traditional Middle Eastern dish, now in a vegan version.



  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • A handful of fresh coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Salt + pepper
  • 400g tin of chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • *Dressing:
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (or sub agave syrup)
  • 4 tablespoons fresh dill
  • Salt + pepper
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • A handful of pecans (optional)
