Aimee Huto’s Amazing Story

As you already know, Mind&Body adores successful people and believes they can change the world by inspiring others!

So I’ve been looking for champ personal trainers to share their story so you can learn about their professionalism and be inspired by their fitness tips.

And this time, Aimee Huto shares her amazing story with us. She has been in the fitness world for about 11 years since she transformed their life.

Why did you decide to become a fitness trainer?

After having gained 20 pounds my freshman year of college, I struggled to find my way healthy again. When I finally was able to get into a routine (only took me 2 years to get there), I had started working at the college gym – checking people in and cleaning equipment. A month later I was asked if I’d be interested in taking a personal training certification course and since I had changed majors 4 times already and didn’t really know what I wanted to do with my life, I jumped on the opportunity and the rest is history! It was there that I found my passion for helping others become the best version of themselves.

What is your fit lifestyle routine?

I strength train 4 days a week, do cardio 2 days a week and I teach 5 PiYo classes each week as well. Currently I’m doing an at – home program called the 80 Day Obsession. 

Do you have any recommended diet?

I enjoy cooking and eating healthy. I don’t really follow a specific diet although I do limit gluten, carbs from grains and dairy. So I’m mostly paleo, I guess.

What is your favorite workout?

I love lifting but PiYo is my jam. All the way!
 

What is your one top tip for people who want to lose weight?

Find a way to move your body that you LOVE to do… That will keep you doing it over and over again. Consistency is key and the best way to be consistent is to enjoy what you’re doing. And get yourself some accountability!
